An active tug of war between hip-hop and good old fashioned rock ‘n’ roll, Freaks for Geeks aim to embody two distinct musical personas.

After spending the better part of two years writing and shaping their dichotomous sound, Freaks released their debut EP, Smoke ‘Em If You Got ‘Em in January 2013 followed by their sophomore effort, Whatever It Takes, in 2015. Released as a limited run of individually blood-splattered cassette tapes and referencing everything from “The Shining” and “The Invisible Man” to “Hemlock Grove” and “Dexter”, Whatever It Takes is a patchwork of popular culture.

Now with the release of their newest EP, TIN, Freaks once again uses their unique take on hip-hop fronted rock and roll to show you two sides of the same musical coin.
